The Museum of Human Anatomy “G.B. Morgagni” of the University of Padua, offers educational activities for upper secondary school students, with the aim of introducing participants to the history of medicine, human anatomy and palaeopathology through an interdisciplinary approach that combines scientific research, public engagement and education within the Section of Pathological Anatomy.

The Section of Pathological Anatomy of the Museum hosts a remarkable collection of historical anatomical preparations closely linked to medical practice at the University of Padua. Visitors are guided on a journey exploring the diseases that have affected humankind from the past to the present day.

Educational activities take place at the Museum and include both guided tours and hands-on laboratories and workshops, designed to encourage direct observation of the collections and to promote a deeper understanding of the evolution of disease and medical practice throughout history.

These educational activities are recommended for upper secondary school students from the third year onwards (aged 16 and over).

In accordance with the Museum’s capacity, educational activities can accommodate a maximum of 25 students per group.

The Museum is accessible to visitors with reduced mobility. Please inform us of any accessibility requirements when making your booking. If you have any specific needs, we kindly ask you to contact the Museum in advance.

Before booking, teachers are kindly requested to contact the Museum Curator (museo.morgagni@unipd.it), who will be happy to provide further information, help identify the activity best suited to the class, and supply preparatory educational materials for both teachers and students.
