PLAN A VISIT

Where to eat

Packed lunch: the museum does not have a dedicated space for class lunches.

In case of good weather, we recommend using the Arena Gardens (1.2 km north) or Prato della Valle (1.2 km southwest). In all weather conditions, it is possible to have lunch at the Cloister of Sant’Antonio (650 m) of the Basilica of Sant’Antonio, where a picnic area with tables and benches is freely accessible to groups. It is also possible to book a large heated indoor room by contacting the sacristy at 049 8242890. There is no fee for using these spaces, but a donation is appreciated.

How many classes together

The maximum capacity of the Museum is 25 students. For larger classes or multiple classes, it is necessary to book multiple time slots.

While you're here

We recommend visiting other university museums that are related to the themes addressed in the Morgagni museum, ideal also for combining visits of multiple classes: Poleni Museum, Botanical Museum, Museum of Nature and Humankind. Another Paduan museum consistent with the scientific sector is the Musme, Museum of the History of Medicine, which houses some preparations from the Morgagni Museum collections.
